Salem’s First Citizen, George Jennings, emcees LeAnn Keim and Curt Arthur
Since 1950, the Salem Chamber has honored those who exemplify servant leadership. These are individuals who, through their business, volunteering, and philanthropic efforts, improve the lives of those in the community by serving first.
On Friday, March 3 2017 Salem’s First Citizen George Jennings summed it up nicely when he shared with us “many people told me this was the best First Citizen they had been to anywhere. I second that emotion.”
Nearly 500 attendees had an excellent evening celebrating servant leadership at its highest level in Salem. On behalf of the Board of Directors and professional staff at the Salem Chamber – thank you. It’s an honor to help the First Citizen Awards Banquet come together every year.
